Pulmonary Function Tests (PFT) measures the volume of air inhaled or exhaled over a period of time. The test can be used to measure deep inspirations and expirations to give information about vital capacity as well as measuring forced expiration rates and volumes.

ASI's Pulmonary Function Testing Program meets the NIOSH and American Thoracic Society Standards. On-Site Pulmonary Function Testing includes:

  • Health history
  • Interpretation of test results
  • Pulmonary physician's review
  • Record keeping
  • Administration
  • In addition to our Pulmonary Function Testing Program, our Respirator Clearance Program is designed to medically clear employees to wear a respirator. And our Respirator Fit Testing Program included qualitative and quantitative fit testing.
